How do I get my ex-wife to refinance the car we bought together?
Is the car titled to her, you, or both of you jointly? If shes already wrecking your credit, it might be better to do a voluntary repossession and be done with it. My brother had this same issue with his ex-fiance - in the long-run it was better for him to let the bank take it. Even tho its still a repossession, it does show up on your credit report as voluntary. Perhaps just threatening to have it repossessed will get her to refinance and have it put in her name only.Good luck and God Bless!
